Is it called PSD? Where the muscle at the front of the pelvis becomes weak and inflamed, and doesn't hold you pelvis together anymore (basic description!!) Think may have this at 24 wks, 2nd pregnancy. Spoken to midwife, have appt with her tomorrow to confirm.. Has anyone else suffered with this? Any tips?

SPD. It is where the ligaments overstretch.

Make sure that they refer you for physio. They should give you excercises to strengthen your core muscles and a support belt to hold everything in place.
If it is very bad, they may also suggest crutches.

Also, make sure you keep your knees close together to avoid making it worse and advise the midwife who delivers your baby as they should measure the distance you can part your legs when you arrive at hospital so they do not make the problem worse.
