Hello,

I have just discvoered I am pregnant again - delighted and still trying to get used to the idea!! DS is 2.4 and is a typical toddler, very active, likes to bounce around and likes me to be involved and play with him A LOT.

My default setting is worried/anxious, so just wondering, for anyone in a similar situation or experienced this in past, how careful are/were you about phyiscal activity - ie, a few times DS has jumped on my knee/stomach or kicked me accidntally around tummy - not enough to hurt me but just a bit concerned that I should be a bit more careful??

Do I sound mad

i had 4 children in under 6 years and for each pregnancy got no relief from the general wear and tear of looking after a toddler. no damage to babies, although my back tok a few years of pilates to regain it's normal status.

Don't worry! My DD goes on my 14 week tummy, doesn't kick or jump on though as that may hurt ME! Never mind the baby! If it doesn't hurt you it won't hurt the baby in my view - if it does hurt you don't let him do it, pregnant or not

Thanks = thought I was probably being a bit precious and common sense tells me babies can probably put up with a few knocks. I remember being exhausted when pg first time round, especially towards end so must admit I am feeling a bit nervous about how I will manage - at the minute he is quite gentle but occassionally will jump on me with just a bit too much force
