Ive just been speaking to my friend who says she has woken up this morning with tummy cramps, feeling sick and the runs, cramps have eased now. But she said first thing they really hurt. She is almost 34 wks and this is her second child. I dont know why but Ive just got a feeling that she is going to go into labour. I know I felt this way the day before I had my dd but she was born on time so to speak. Am I just being silly, she herself isnt worried and thinks its something she ate but I know her and she has a tendancy to ignore things in the hope that they will go away. anyone else had a similar experience?

Could she have eaten something to cause it?

I vomited and had the runs before I went in to labour. The contractions started 7 hrs later.

She said she thought it is because of something she has eaten but didnt say what. She hasnt eaten out though.

No, I was 4 days over due date.

I had been warned that I may experience the "clearing out" before I went in to labour and sure enough I got it!

Is she feeling any better yet?
