As explained in a previous post, the first result were not sure about although the line is def pink and there, (left it after 3/4 mins went back hours later saw the line) digi test said not pregnant, lloyds line tests 2nd blue line within the 10 mins. 2 Days ago had tmi warning brown thick cmi only a tiny tiny amount, the nothing, yesterday had some bleeding it was brown, thickish. Then turned a bit red. Went to bed using panty liner woke up it was fine nothing, used loo and bleeding again but as i say only wipeable amount.

I'm only on cd 30 today so only a couple week pregnant. I have no cramps at all, no clots, when i wipe if the blood seem thick tmi i have touched to see if its a clot and it isnt.

All i have is slight lower back ache, along with all my other symptoms. DH asked if ive tested again this morning, i havent as i figure if its miscarriage/chemical pregnancy testing in a weeks time will come up negative wont it?? Should i be keeping an eye on symptoms still such as sickness etc?

I suppose i still havent accepted that i am pregnant despite having 2 lines on 2 tests. Also note the Lloyds test i did yesterday was with 4th pee of the day and faint blue line showed up.

Has anyone else experienced this and do i need to worry about it? I dont want to put myself under undue stress, feel a fraud writing in the pregnancy section just incase.

thanks guys any advice be really appreciated!

It could very well be implantation bleeding, given that it's minimal and brown.

I don't know about the test results, but 2/3 is surely conclusive. Was it the most recent that was clearly positive?

Speaking as someone who bled throughout my pregnancy with dd, it's a pain because every time it happens, it could be something or it could be nothing. You are just going to have see what happens at this early stage. Good luck!

well the first test 2nd line came up but were not sure after how long as i left it for hours. The digi test yest morn said not pregnant and the lloyds one yest mid morning line came up, its faint but its there.
The blood isnt enough to TMI drip onto a panty liner or anything and when i last checked it seemed brown again. Seem more when i pee, but then that makes it seem more anyway.

My lil sis is telling me to do another test now, would you if you was in my position i just dont know....

Personally, I would leave it til, say, Monday morning. Test first thing.

A line is a line, if it came up within the 10 mins then there is HCG in your system so you are pregnant - congratulations! (The 'not pregnant' result was probably just because you were testing before levels high enough for that test to detect). I know it's awful, but the only thing to do now is wait and see how things go (and keep posting to help cope with the wait!). You can test again if you like but it won't tell you much more than you know already. If you don't get another line today, you can't interpret it - it might be that it was a chemical pregnancy, it might be just that you're still very early and levels are very low. Bleeding is v. common - I had really heavy implantation bleeding with my first pg so was amazed to get a positive test. I'd wait a few days with fingers crossed ...

ok thanks guys, did another one got very very faint line within 3 mins it seems fainter than yesterday so not much i can do other than wait.

posted on another thread the following:

Hi everyone, well today is/was cd 31.
I started bleeding yesterday afternoon only medium this has carried on all day whilst ive been at work. Kept an eye on it through the day not had any cramps or anything, just got home from work used the loo and had a smallish/medium clot, TMI it was dark red and quite stringy so i think thats it for me this month. Im assuming ive just miscarried, i was def pregnant 3 out of 4 tests def positive, the one from this morning had a medium/strong blue line.

I've not had any cramps or pains and the bleeding certainly isnt heavy, ive only used 2 panty lines today. Because ive been focussing on the bleeding ive not paid much attention to feeling sick, although have had a few waves od nausea.

So questions, do i just wait and test again in a week or so just incase?
Do i count yesterday as CD1 again and start again?
I've never been pregnant before to my knowledge and working today sorry guys but its been hell, trying to work and not think about our loss. DH is ok and suggesting we get a doll for the dog to get used to for when we do have a baby, such as making him leave it alone etc etc.

anyway enough about me how are you all doing? Hope you've all had lovely days and enjoyed your saterday. I9 have tommorrow of finally i really need a days rest to get over all of this! sad

This is obviously an emotional roller coaster for you Shirley. But I think you're getting a bit ahead of yourself. Yes, a clot could be a miscarriage, but it could also just be that (tmi) it's blood that has been sitting up there for a couple of days and has congealed. So, yes, I think you need to leave it for a couple of days, see what happens and test again if you are uncertain. Good luck, I do feel for you.

shirleyc · 29/03/2009 09:07

clotted again this morning and TMI the clots aren't just blood they seem strong if that makes any sense, mucus like hard to describe.
Thanks for your reply anyway like you say i will wait a few days and see how I am.
Hope you have a nice day
