Have you got a scan sorted out?

It is really worrying and the problem is that no-one can tell you what is going on.

However, it isn't necessarily the end - I bled from 6 to 11 weeks with my pg and I'm now nearly 38 weeks. A girl a know at work had a sudden 'flood' at 11 and everything was fine. She was told it was something to do with the placenta taking over.

I know there isn't any point in saying try not to worry, but worrying isn't going to change the outcome.

Sorry about your previous mc

I really would push for a scan whatever, because it would put your mind at rest.

It is an awful time, I nearly went out of my mind over those 5 weeks. Also try not to google too much because it won't give you particularly helpful information.

Are you bleeding a lot?

katendmom · 27/03/2009 18:51

Your doctor is right - feet up, drink lots and lots of water (you need to be hydrated) and there are tons of stories of very successful pregnancies after early on bleedings.

Have you heard this little bean's heartbeat during this pregnancy yet? The reason I ask is that if you did - the chance of m/c drops to only 5% (I know, I know - it is never "only") but...

I am keeping my fingers crossed for you and your little peanut!

thanks for your replies

dh thinks i am doing too much and i need to rest, which i will..

the bleed is not too heavy but is pinkish reddish but no pain...

i just pray it will all be ok

evaangel, of course you will be worried, that is completely natural.

My prescription is: someone to fetch and carry for you, line up your favourite DVDs, and proper, proper rest. Keep in touch with your midwife/doctor - please don't worry about making yourself a nuisance, this is one of those life situations where that shouldn't even enter your head - and try not to distress yourself with imaginings.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you evaangel, i too know hoe devestating a mc is. The fact that you havent got any pain/cramps is a good sign. Is there a walk in EPU near you that you could go to maybe tomorrow?
