Hi,
I'm having a fight with Mother"we don't"care.
I ordered the Maxicosicabriofix car seat from my local store but had to get it delivered as they only had more expensive new season colours in store. When I got it delivered the box was open but I checked it and there were bits of paper clipped to the front, which I thought were the instructions. (I'd previously returned a Creatis carseat and the instructions were there) When I came to fit the car seat a few ays later I realised these weren't the instructions and assumed they had fallen out of the open box so called customer services who said they'd send them to me by email and I also asked for a book to be posted. To cut along story short I ended up going into labour that day two weeks early. They sent me some crappy photocopies, which were a real struggle to use and so I fired off a complaint asking for a copy of the book which should have been included. They got the manufacturer to send it and wrote me some crappy letter telling me about a concealed door where we found the instructions but we wouldn't have known to look there. There should be some giant sticker!! I reckon Mothercare should know about this problem already as I'm sure we rnot the first baby brained parents to not know where to look. I've since spoken to a friend who bought the car seat second hand and she only knew cos the seller told her where it was and another friend says she only knew cos she suddenly remembered her cousin telling her that they couldn't find the instructions when they'd had their baby a year earlier!! It just added to all the stress and MC have not really apologised at all.
