Friend in hospital.

MW just said her bloods have come back as abnormal, then MW gone off to help with an Emerg cs and now she has to wait.

Any ideas what abnormal bloods mean?

Could mean anything... I assume your friend is pregnant/ in labour? Could mean she has anaemia, an infection... lots of things, unfortunately. Which is horrible as she now has to wait for the bloody MW to come back. Could your friend perhaps ring for a nurse and demand to speak with a doctor about her results? If she's pregnant/ in labour, it's really not good to leave her wondering like this. Bloody unprofessional of the MW, if you ask me.

Oh, duh, I should read the title of the post. If she's 38 weeks of course she's pregnant. [idiot emoticon] Anyway - it's hardly a good thing for the MW to know what's up with your friends blood and bugger off without telling her. I'd demand speaking with a doctor. As she's pg and in hospital she's hardly likely to be in a good frame of mind to begin with.
