dating scan showed nothing ?

hi all i've been for a dating scan this morning as i've fallen straight from a miscarriage so was very unsure of dates
They said they could see no sac just increased endometrial (spelling) lining and hcg 1,147 so good and strong ?
got to have more bloods taken on saturday morning and another scan next friday.
Anyone had similar experience of seeing nothing then something a week later ?

forgot to mention i thought i was about 6 weeks ?

i had one at what turned out to be 6 weeks and they could see a sac but no heartbeat so went back 2 weeks later and could see heartbeat . . .

oh also had the thicker lining too

I had emty scan at supposed 6 weeks (dated from lat period) I had crazy panic but today I got results saying my hcg had doubled from my last blood test which was great news.
The midwife then assured me that they don't normally expect to see anything on an ultrasound until hcg levels are 2000 and above.
(My hcg is only at 980 hence empty womb!)

The most important aspect is that your hcg levels double every 2/3 days.

I have new scan booked for 15.04 and everything looks 'very promising'.

Please don't worry your hcg is strong so chances are you will see bubs at next scan.

hi , well my bloods on saturday doubled up too 2,612 so good news so far ,
i've gto another scan in mornin so hopefully will see a sac or something then ?
