I'm 37 weeks on Sat, and they're getting really uncomfortable, especially at night.
They're causing me to have to bend over and breeeeeeeeeeeeaaathe while walking, and are nigh-on constant in the evening.
I'm well-hydrated, wee frequently, so they're unrelated to drinking issues.
I'm just wondering if they're ramping up like this because things are moving along a bit quicker than last time.
This is my 2nd pregnancy, and while I expected the BHs to be more intense this time, this is a bit much.
Just over the past 7-10 days, they've been accompanied by mild period-style cramps, but these cramps subside after a few mins.
Any thoughts? TIA, guys.

I started with this just before 37 weeks as well, just as you describe it. The pain was bad enough to wake me up at night and keep me awake. It makes me laugh when I read about trying to sleep during early labour to save energy because I don't see how it would be possible. This isn't what you want to hear but I am now 39 weeks and there is still no sign of this baby making its way into the world. Its getting very frustrating!

Hi I am a bit behind you at 35+3. I have had bh for about a week and they keep getting more and more intense. I have now had two days where I actually thought things were kicking off early they were so intense. I have also had the cramps and pretty much constant lower back pain. My mw said it is all good and fine and my body is doing some excellent pre labour excercises and not to worry about it.
