Tummy tenderness

I'm 18 wks pregnant and for the last week i've noticed my lower tummy is quite tender. Not sure whether thats normal or not?

Sorry, I'm not sure about this but wanted to bump the thread for you. Maybe it's worth phoning your midwife or your local unit to ask - do you have any appointments coming up?

Hiya. I think this is perfectly normal. I had what I would describe as aching muscles, like i'd done a hard work out, for the first few months. I think it's just your muscles stretching to cope with your expanding uterus!

check with your midwife if you're worried though.
