Most of it goes on at the end (in a rather alarming manner iirc!)

My pillow made lines on my face today too, I think I am getting puffy!

I don't remember any of this stuff, previously I just ate ice pops and didn't care.

When it took me 5 years to lose all the weight I suddenly realised maybe I should care!

It depends from woman to woman. Some women gain just 8/9 kg is total, other 20kg, it depends on the starting weight.

It's more useful to look at your health in general and how well you are feeling.

hob, I ate like a horse when I was pg. I made no effort to lose it afterwards but when ds got mobile it soon shifted.

I have only gained 7-8 kg and i'm 38 wks! I've had a few months of being a bit ill (bad cough that made me sick and reduced my appetite) but the doc told me yesterday that as long as the baby is growing ok it doesn't matter that much how much you put on.

If you're worried about nutrition then make sure you take pregnacare or similar.

I'm 32 weeks and have put on 13lb which doesn't seem very much to me but there's still another 2 months to go I guess! Was a bit worried but I take my pregnacare vitamins, I'm developing normally and the baby is very active so assume it's all ok.

Also, apart from my initial consultant's appointment, no-one has ever weighed me so I fugire it can't be that important!
