Is it true the Phil & Ted cocoon fits perfectly in the Maclaren XT, as a cheat carrycot for newborn?

Just wondering if anyone else had heard this rumour before I spend money on the cocoon. Any other ideas on making the XT more newborn-friendly welcome!

Don't know about the Phil and Ted coocoon, but on the Mothercare website there is a Maclaren soft cot advertised for the XLR - apparently it is out in 'spring'. Not sure if it would fit the XT, but you never know. I've been trying to find one as an option for our number three.

Aside from that, we used the XT with our second, and just padded it out a bit - I had a sheepskin liner and used the head hugger from my Maclaren double. He seemd perfectly fine in it - generally used it for more indoor trips though, not much off roading - too bumpy!
