Just wondering as having another sickness free pregnancy so think i'm most probably
having another boy.

I've heared that people have had,

sickness= girl
and then
No sickness= boy

But not heard of any stories of same pregnancies (sickness or no sickness)= girl and then boy

Please humour me

flier I've been suffering with a bit of irrational anger this time, and been a bit short with DP but thought it was due to being tired with one dc arlready to look after, well two if you include DP.

But I i've decided it's because i'm having a girl now!

Well i have a 50/50 chance!

I've had two boys and a girl. Two boy pregnancies were identical ( not too bad ) and girl pregnancy was very different ( horrible ).

littlemiss, its a girl when are you due?

Flier · 19/03/2009 18:30

oops sorry see you are due in oct.
good luck

Thank you it seems an age away. But I have been told it goes allot faster when you have one already, as they fill your days up with mischief and before you know it...... you are 40 weeks!

Thanks everyone for taking the time to reply i know it was a bit of a silly question. I won't really know until He/She is born, i may get an indication at th 20 weeks scan, but you can never be sure!

Lots of sickness in both pregnancies, similar weight gain, similar shape both times.

DS and DD

alittlebitshy · 21/03/2009 16:05

sick til 20 weeks with dd; sick til the end with ds...

TheRealSecretLemonadeDrinker · 21/03/2009 16:21

I was much much sicker with dd (my third) than with the boys - but sicker with ds2 than ds1. I was vvv horny when carrying the boys, but if dh came anywhere near me when pg with dd I froze.... good luck!

having 2 boys is fab btw - esp when they get a bit older -

Chrysanthamum · 21/03/2009 20:26

very mild nausea for ds 1
nausea was much worse for ds 2
nausea was awful this time for 14 weeks. My bump is a bit weird this time, its not that big yet but i seem to be getting bigger around the ribs, although for other pregnancies I got bigger from the lower abdomen first. Maybe I've just been stretched who knows?

noonki · 21/03/2009 20:44

V. different both boys !

(ps if you are secretely hankering for a girl seriously consider to find out at the scan as it took me a while to get over..not great with mild pnd pps I wouldnt change a hair on his beautiful head now!)

eidsvold · 23/03/2009 11:19

i had three totally different pregnancies and I had three girls

Pinkbump3 · 23/03/2009 11:44

Same for me 3 different pgs and 3 girls

1st sick from day 1 till 3mths after birth!
and was carrying all round front back and side = girl (craving coal/petrol/firelighters)

2nd sick for first 3 mths then sailed through rest of pg carried all out front tiny basketball style = girl (craving coal/petrol/firelighters again!)

3rd currently 36 weeks sick from day 1 till 20 weeks (ish) carrying really high and neat all front still occasionally sick lots of cramps and stretching all the way through otherwise plain sailing = girl ! (craved salt and vinegar things at beginning then nothing and as of last week driving myself mental over coal/petrol/firelighters and jayes fluid that we used to scrub down garden path!!)
