Bump bashed by trolley in sainburys- do I need a Rh Jab?

Hello
Im 40+3 and I was just bashed in the bump by a woman shoving into my trolley (so rude she didnt even apologise despite me visibly being fully pregnant!)

Does anyone know if this means I need a Rh jab?

Thank you

How rude. Hope you are OK.

I know nothing about all this and I am not sure what you mean by RH jab, but I am bumping for you.

Rhesus jab? Only if the baby's blood has gotten into your bloodstream.

The best people to ask would be your midwives, do you have a number for them?

Rhubarb · 19/03/2009 14:59

If you are rhesus neg then best to get it checked out tbh.

phone midwife, they will send you to hosp for monitoring.

Oh, no GYO! That's why you need to stay at home and let DH do the shopping!

You should've already had a blood test to determine your blood type early in your pregnancy. If your blood type is RH neg, then you'd likely have already received your jabs. Probably best to call your midwife, but I'm sure you're fine. {{hugs}}

Thanks guys.

I rang up my Comm MW who told me to ring the hospital. Issue is that it might have caused injury and internal bleeding and any chance mine and baby's could blood mix means they like to give a jab it seems.

LBOT thanks my Rh neg type is definate and I've had my jabs so far think they want to put another hole in my arm!
