Stem Cell Collection

Hi there,

I'm looking into Stem Cell collection at the moment, having read a couple of articles on it.
I would be interested to know what peoples thoughts are on it and if anyone has had it done?

I would have liked to do this but it's not offered in my area. The hospital need to have specialist provisions made for collecting and mine doesn't but it sounds like a good thing to do - like giving blood or being a bone marrow donor i guess.

I'm in Inverness. Was told the closest place to have it done would be Edinburgh!
