Does anyone know what time of day and under what conditions (empty stomach?) you should take Spatone?

Anyone have experience of other natural iron boosting remedies?

Haven't been tested, just feeling unusual fatigue at 21 weeks.

Thanks

Try Floradix, you can find it in Holland & Barrett etc. Took it through my first pregnancy and now taking it again for my second and I actually find it tastier this time round! It's all natural and you take 10ml in the morning and 10ml in the evening before your meals...

Recommended to take on an empty stomach (although can be taken after food), and best taken with fruit juice. I think time of day isn't that relevant.

There is another natural iron supplement my mw recommended, but can't remember its name .

Have found Spatone much gentler than the iron tablets I was prescribed. The mw is repeating bloods next visit, so will see then if it has affected my iron levels. I don't feel as tired but have just started mat leave

Floradix - that's the one! Thanks angel!

No worries Reggiee... ;) As long as OP gets the message! Good luck with the birth, sounds like you are almost there...

I always took Floradix sparingly (10ml a day every day or every other day if I forgot) as I wasn't anaemic but just wanted baby to get an added boost. DS was born very healthy and still is!
