Im only 4 months pregnant but already have quite a bump, im finding it really uncomfortable to wash my hair or shave my legs, just washed my hair leaning over the bath and kept getting really horrid cramps in my stomach, any tips?

oh dear sweetie its gonna get a whole load worse

I am 9 months pregnant with dc no 2 and cans till wash my hair, and even at a push shave legs.

Are you that unsupple /unfit?

Sorry really dont mean to be unkind, but at 4 months you shuold be able to anything.

The cramps should be normal streching of ligaments and be nothing to worry about x

im 35 weeks and finding it a struggle to shave as i cant bend over my bump washing hair is ok tho as i just do it in the shower. are you having to lean over the sink to do it? cos i know my bump gets in the way now when i try to do the dishes lol!

you may be expecting a big baby like me! at my 34 weeks scan last week they estimated the baby at 6lbs 14oz and by the time of birth she will be estimated at 10 lbs plus!!

but i only actually started to show at around 24 weeks.

Prob a silly question but do you have a shower?? could you not lay down in the bath and wash ur hair that way?? I gave up with shaving my legs with pg1&2 (infact ds2 is 13 months and only shaved them about 3 months ago )

loganberry12 · 16/03/2009 19:51

yes i have a shower and can wash it while in the shower i know but it never seems to rinse properly in the shower and i hate getting shampoo in my eyes, oh well will just have to i suppose. My daughter is a beautian so i should really ask her to wax my legs lol

get legs waxed. all done then. I feel dirty if legs not smooth so have them waxed and under my arms.

puffylovett · 16/03/2009 19:54

agree, get legs waxed. It is a bit weird though, when you can't see over your bump at what they're doing down the leg end !!! Especially when it comes to bikini time..

My Dh shaved my legs and painted my toenails for me towards the end of my first pregnancy lol. It must be true love hehe

Fruitpastels · 16/03/2009 20:23

My dh washed my hair, shaved my legs and painted my toenails for me too! He must have felt very sorry for me

ABetaDad · 16/03/2009 20:40

If there are any DHs out there reading this.

Let me tell you washing your wife's hair, painting her toes and shaving her legs is a very intimate and lovely thing to do. Do try it, she will like it and so will you.

Even if she is not pregnant.

I could shave my legs, but wouldn't be able to walk for the rest of the day - SPD!

Loganberry, the stomach pains and stretching should start to pass soon, hopefully
