anyone else near the end and getting fed up, join me moaning?

I'm 37 weeks pregnant, still at work and plan to be until end of 39 weeks?

I'm tired, and very jealous that people that work for me with richer partners left with 8 weeks to 4 weeks before their due date and I'm planning to making it to the end for financial reasons.

Don't get me wrong, my pregnancy is reasonably easy and I'm healthy, my midwife is still only seeing me once every 2 weeks? is this normal, i thought it should be weekly now?

I'm bored stiff, but to tired to do more and just feel like life is passing me by.

anybody else getting fed up towards the end?

Hello I worked until just over 38 weeks with DS (happened to be Xmas Eve) and I was pretty shattered by then and all my AN pals had been on mat leave for ages. My DS turned up 9 days late so I was glad that I'd stayed on at work, I felt like I was wasting mat leave being at home without my baby. All the best for when your time comes

I'm getting fed up now, due date is Thursday, but I'm convinced I'm going to go overdue, then have to be induced, which means I won't be able to go to the birthing centre as planned. I thought something was happening yesterday, I had backache and period pain type feelings, and felt a bit teary. Today-nothing. Come on baby, move!!
I gave up work at 30 weeks, by the way. It's been a long, boring 9 weeks at home! I thought it would be great to have as much time off beforehand as I could, but the time has dragged.

how you getting on anthemadevice? hope its going well and little one is either with you or on its way. Must admit i'm doing the same as you, each back pain, or period like pain i'm hoping is it, but being as energetic as i am I know it's going to be a long wait.

Ive been off home for months cos am freelance and nobody wanted to give me any contract work cos of pregnancy! I am SO BORED and over it am 38+4 and want baby out now...had over 3 weeks of lightening pain and recently really strong braxtons with tummy cramp... I keep being woken up at 4 or 5 am for about 2 hours of contraction like pains - thinking is this it...but alas no..grrr cant be too long tho pleeeeeeze
