getting pregnant whilst on the implant....

hi i was just wondering if anybody has got pregnant whilst on the implanon implant?

i had my implant in 2 years ago last september and have never had any concerns, always had regular periods on about a 21-28 day cycle and by my calculations im now either 2 or 3 weeks late.

did a test this week and it was negative and with both my two i had major morning sickness and im not getting any of that... so should i be concerned or not... need some one to put my mind at rest...

I had the implant last year (got it taken out as it was a nightmare of constant periods but that is another story..)
However, when it was put in originally - the doctor told me that to date (as was) no one had ever been recorded as getting pregnant EVER, when it was in. There were cases of people having already been pregnant before it was implanted but NONE getting pregnant whilst using it.

I was on the implant up until recently and the Dr told me too that to date there have been no cases of pregnancy relating to a correctly fitted implant. I too had a nervous period thinking I was pg, and researched it, and all evidence I found backed up what I was told by the Dr.

(however, once it is removed, your fertility goes back to normal within days. I can vouch for it being true as I had it removed in Jan, and am now 4 weeks pg! )

I have been on the implant since november i blead alot at first and now have regular bleads every 2 weeks but i have not cum on now for 4 weeks i have dun a test which was neg but i cnt stop weeing and i am very emotional i no 2 girls who have got pregnant on it b4 and i am goin out ov my mind i already have a 7 month old ha ha what should i do?
