That is normal right? I have a rumbly tummy all the time right now! I just want to eat, and eat, and eat, and eat. I am only just over 4 weeks pg, so v early. I had awful sickness for the last week, but that has stopped and is replaced by extreme tiredness and hunger...

Just checking its all normal as the only thing I remember about last pg in the early stages was horrendous morning sickness!

PussinJimmyChoos · 13/03/2009 14:07

Oooh mega congrats!!

Soo excited for you! Hopefully will see your DD and the 'bump' at DS's b'day party in May!

wow..so, tell all about the BFP - early response test, or normal one...oooh I do love this kind of thing

insertwittynicknameHERE · 13/03/2009 14:07

Congratulations

It is very normal, I wake in the night and have to come down for a snack before I can get back off to sleep I don't even wanna weigh myself with this pg. (I lost weight with DD)

pavlovthecat · 13/03/2009 14:07

I knew last week as I have had horrendous morning sickness, before AF was due. DH said it was too early but it felt like I was pg. The signs were there, clear as.

Did two tests, both positive as DH did not beleive the first one! He was hoping for a bit more time practising he said!!

7 weeks since implant was taken out

you must have been at it like rabbits!

pavlovthecat · 13/03/2009 14:10

I used First Response, currently two for one in Boots. Faint line, but definitely a line. DH did not want me to test, but I had a group to run and really needed to take something for the nausea, but could not until I knew either way, so I did the test on Monday, and did the group while fighting the urge to throw up. It was a very speedy session!!! .

DH was not convinced, he said line was too faint. Then in the kitchen were light was better he saw lines on each test clearly!!!

oooh DS is up from his nap so I have to go but wow...congrats again!

pavlovthecat · 13/03/2009 14:12

Jimmy - thats the thing though, we weren't! We were not 'trying' so to speak, just having sex when we were in the mood, of course I expect I was more in the mood at certain times, but not trying desperately. That is why DH is so shocked it has happened so quickly . GP said I clearly have nought wrong with my tubes!

What date is DS's party in May? We are away first week in May so I really hope its not that week as we would love to come!

Insert - thank you, good to be reassured! I do not recall eating excessively last time, but that was due to morning sickness, I ate little and often so keep it at bay, and I had it from 7 weeks all the way through.

My belly sort of burns with hunger! I have had 2 slices of toast and one crumpet for breakfast (don't usually eat breakfast), a chocolate muffin - leftover kedgeree for lunch (enough for both me and DH), and leftover macaroni cheese (enough for 1). That was about 1 hour ago, and now I want more to eat .

Pav, at least being pg gives you the excuse to eat as much as you want lol.

Good luck.

cyteen · 13/03/2009 14:54

Congratulations I was ravenous pretty much the entire time I was pregnant with DS. Still am now, in fact, and he's 6 months old

Coldtits · 13/03/2009 14:57

pavlov, you're not eating enough protein. Have some scrambled egg, or some ham or something. Or nuts as a snavk.

girlywhirly · 13/03/2009 15:19

I was hungry all the time too, even before morning sickness, in my case just morning nausea as I discovered that eating stopped it!

Once DS was born, lost all interest in food, ate much less. This was good, because I burned off my pregnancy fat making milk, and was back to pre pregnant weight/size in 12 weeks, but with bigger boobs!

pavlovthecat · 13/03/2009 16:45

I have just had 3 hobnobs, after eating a humungous bowl of fruit salad and yoghurt and DH is making spaghetti bolognaise for dinner, we shall be eating it early with DD i think as I starve.

Coldtits - is mackerel not protein? Or cheese? I had that for my lunch in kedgeree and macaroni cheese...I shall have a snack of a ham sarnie while waiting for tea then...

With my last pg I only put on half a stone, but DD was also small (5lbs), I have heard the rumours that second pgs see bigger women!

Pav - it will be the bank hol weekend...

Oooh if you find out the flavour let me know because... I can make winter hats and mittens!

pavlovthecat · 14/03/2009 09:40

Jimmy aw we are not here that weekend. We are going to stay in a yurt for the weekend . I am gutted, really wanted the kids to meet up again. And us get a chance to gas again.

We shall have to make a point of meeting very soon then, with the weather improving we can meet for the kids to run around outside somewhere.
