breastfeedin + pregnant do i need calcium?!

i did a blood tests at docs, they sed everything is ok, and told me not to take calcium..hmm
my dd is gna b 8 months, im 18 weeks pregnant...
wat2do? midwife insists and so does hv that i take them?

Apparently when you are breastfeeding it is the only time in your adult life that you lay down calcium on your bones so that helps protect you against brittle bones. Given your circumstances you certainly do need quite a lot of calcium in your diet but maybe not supplements. If I were you I'd get MW to speak to DR so you have don't get conflicting opinions from your medical advisors .
