i have been wondering about this for a couple of weeks. If you have a measuremkent done at, say, 11 1/2 weeks, would the measurement be the same, or bigger or smaller at 13 weeks?
I can't seem to find anyhting about it so hoped someone might know.
TIA

Usually it gets smaller I believe, this is why the test is done in that particular stage of pregnancy.

But don't take my word as gospel, as am no expert - just someone who had a 3.1mm NF measurement!

The normal NT increases from 11 to 13 wks and then plateaus just after 13 weeks before reduces after 14 wks.
Most specialists would discourage you from having repeat NT tests done as different results make interpretation and subsequent counselling very difficult. It is much more important that the person who is doing the NT measurment is doing it properly in the first place by complying with the accepted professional guidelines for NT measurment and ideally the NT is combined with a blood test!
