Combined nuchal and blood test vs triple(?) test???

Hi, in my last pg I had blood test and nuchal scan at 12 weeks then second blood test at 15 weeks from which I got my risk factor results for chromosomal abnormalities.

I'm at a different hospital this time and you just have the scan and bloods at 12 weeks and get results on same day.

Anyone know what the difference is?

thanks.

hi do you mean the PAPP blood test then the nucal. I don't think all hospitals do the PAPP test some only the nucal followed by the triple test. I had mine done here there is a bit more information on the 2nd page of their leaflet, I hope it all goes well for you.

Yes I think so. My last hosp also offered the triple test which this one doesn't, so I'm wondering if that's not as good and if i should try and get the triple. anyone know?
