Swollen lymph glands in groin (28 weeks' pregnant)

I've got what seem to be quite painful swollen lymph glands in my groin area (both sides) and am panicking a bit. I'm 28 weeks. Due to see the midwife later today, so will mention it then. Does anyone have experience of this/know if this is common during pregnancy? I'm worrying it's caused by an infection that might hurt the baby, though I've no idea where I'd have got the infection from

I don't think a midwife would be able to diagnose this. yes it could be your body fighting infection but best check with GP. a bloodtest would show if it is infection.
