I sometimes think that (im 11+2 and this is my 4th) and often dismissed it but after having a scan on thursday and seeing how much the bub jumps and moves around maybe it is him/her i feel i like to think so anyway

I feel sensations that are just like the first flutterings of a baby... I'm not even pregnant! It is early but on your third I am sure you know what is what, congrats, how exciting!

mummy2joshuarileyandbump · 08/03/2009 21:29

I was feeling flutterings as 11 weeks, ppl kept telling me it was wind after 2 previous pregnancies I deffo know the difference! its really puts ur mind at ease doesnt it
I'm still waiting for the proper kicks but i am feeling more and more movement as the days go by (im 15 wks 2moro )

it does put you mind at ease, and you're right when you've already had a few babies you definately can tell the difference.

I love it

No you're not imagining it! I felt my 3rd move around the same time and he has never stopped since - he's nearly 10 months now. I didn't feel my first two till about 20 weeks.

SobranieCocktail · 09/03/2009 09:16

I've been feeling tiny movements since about 11.5 weeks (third baby). It's lovely.

memoo · 09/03/2009 09:16

It must be something to do with 3rd babies, maybe our stomach muscles are so knackered by the time we get to number 3 that its easier to feel.

I didn't feel my first two until about 18/19 weeks either franke

In fact I've literally just felt the biggest kick yet! I'm 13.5 weeks and I think it might have been strong enough to feel from the outside if I'd had my hand on it.

BUT doesn't the baby only weigh about an ounce at the moment??? I know I'm not imagining it or confusing it with wind, but it seems amazing to be able to feel something so tiny My tummy muscles must be in a pitiful state.

thats lovely sobranie It is amazing that we can feel it when baby is still so small.

I guess its something to do with the postion of the baby. I an early scan last week and my baby was all tucked up in the right side of my uterus, which is where i felt the movement
