do you know if you're having a boy or a girl? I read somewhere you are more likely to conceive a girl.

I've never heard this before!
I did have a girl though.

Had a girl, and if scan correct, am having another.
I have read somewhere that women with lower testosterone levels (which I guess would apply to bf mums?) are more likely to conceive girls. Cant remember why though, and it was a tiny percentage difference.

That's interesting greenmonkies. I have coeliac disease but have two boys and one girl and as I said earlier on the thread, DS2 was conceived when I was BFing DD.

I wondered if it was becuase girls are likely to be fed longer, therefore statistically you're more likely to conceive while bf if you have a girl, therefore you're more likely to have girls run in your family, iyswim
