I've been trawling through old posts as there have been lots about BH but can't seem to find what I am looking for -

My BH (assuming that's what they are!) are quite frequent at the moment and I'm not overdoing it, I am 37 + 4 and spend most of the time watching telly with my feet up, today and yesterday they have been right over the top of my bump and stronger. I don't remember having them so far up before. the other night there was also some mild period-tye pain lower down at the same time but not so much today.

I'm sure everything is ok just did'nt know that they could be so high up and make me so breathless - is this normal?

Yes, it's generally a good sign that your body is warming up. I am 34+2 and have had some quite uncomfortable nights with them recently but this seems to have settled down for the time being.

I had lots of BH with ds2 and they were quite high up and often with mild period type pain.

I had a fabulously quick labour, only 45 mins from start to finish! So I say it's a good sign...

Good luck!

MW said to me today that mild period pains could head droppping in pelvis.

Good luck!!

a quick labour would be great so long as its not a day my husband is away and has to get home in a hurry!

thanks for the good wishes ladies, I've got about 20 days to go til due date but here's hoping.
