Britax Vigour 4 - good or bad?

HAs anyone had experience of this buggy? We are considering this over the Icandy Apple as it is cheaper and seems much easier to operate - as well as lighter. Would love any feedback.

See them about and they are very very wide....something to consider. Do you want to be getting a Maclaren for shopping and the bus quite soon?

The car seats are excellent if you'd want it as a travel system.

Thanks for your advice, it actually seems smaller and narrower than both the bugaboo ad icandy so not sure how wide it is. It does seem very convenient as the car seat just slots on, there is no need for adaptors like most other prams. We are planning on getting the whole system, carrycot, pushchair, car seat and isofix etc. If anyone else has any experience of them I would be very grateful for any feedback, thank you.

We have bought the Britax 4 + recently as am expecting our first in 3 weeks. It is so easy to get up and down and like you say, the car seat, carrycot and pushchair slot on and off very easily. We found it to be one of the most user friendly that we tried out. It also folds down very compact so would fit in most cars.

Obviously not having had the baby yet, I can't give you a full review, but so far so good! I don't think it is any wider that most of the others out there tbh. We managed to get the whole system for 300 so a lot cheaper than some of the others too and we are going to use the carrycot as a moses basket, so should save some money there. One thing I would say is that there is a new Britax model out now so you might have to act quick if you want the 4+. We weren't as keen on the new one and it is more expensive too.

Re: Isofix, we bought one but had to take it back because our car didn't have the fixing points. We were a bit disappointed because have a newish Ford Focus and thought it would, but apparently it is such new technology lots of cars don't have them. We will just have to strap in with the seatbelt instead.

Thank you so much Cosmogirl, very helpful and exactly how we feel about it. I am sorry about your car, luckily our car does have them, especially as our seat belts are so short we can't use them on carseats!!

Cosmo girl - we have a 2 year old focus and thought it had the isofix fittings in but it didn't. We took ours to a ford dealer and they fitted them - came to about £50 and DD spent 15 months very happily in her britax isofix seat.
