What should I avoid?

I usually run for 12 mins, cross train for 12 mins, row for 1km then weights on thighs. I swim once a week but I do find it dull so wouldn't really want to do anymore than that.

I'm only 6 weeks gone.

Any advice appreciated.

My understanding is that you do what you are used to but that now is not the time to start a new sport/exercise regime. Listen to your body and remember you may be more prone to injury due to the hormone changes in your body at the moment. So you should be fine to continue what you are doing. www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/health/article666135.ece See the quote from RCOG at the very end.

I think the same- stick to what you are used to BUT IIRC you need to avoid raising your body temperature too much, especially in the first trimester, and be very careful not to overstretch- warm up properly- as the elastin in your system can make you more prone to injury.
