I have had nausea and terrible fatigue for 10 days, culminating in my fainting several times and going to hospital. Blood results show Im not anaemic but have quite low blood pressure (always have had). Doctors stumped as to what it was but said flu-like virus possibly with labrynthitis. Just as I was getting a bit better I now have the mother of all sore throats with yellow spots on my tonsils. I also have a cough which I;ve had since Xmas but is now worse. I'm so worried that all of this is harming the baby. I'm 34 weeks and have terrible anxiety that its CMV or some other nasty that will damage the baby. I'm driving myself mad with worry about the baby which probably isn't helping me.

Poor you, Sunflower.
I seemed to be permenantly ill when I was pg with ds. I think your immunity is down when you are pg as this seemed to be pretty normal amongst my friends too, to varying degrees.

Yellow spots on your tonsils sounds like it could require antibiotics. Get to the GP on Monday or sooner if your temp is high.

Tbh, I would think the baby will be absolutely fine. I was worried too but my gpand mw were very reassuring.

Hope you feel better soon. It is very hard.
