Can anyone recommend any good exercise dvds for pregnancy?

Having sat on my bum for the past 3 months eating crisps to stop myself feeling sick, I now need to do some exercise.

I'm only 12 weeks and was reasonably fit beforehand. Does anyone have any good suggestions for dvds?

Erin O'brian prenatal fitness dvd - quite a good workout if you have basic level of fitness already. Also heard the Davina prenatal one is good but abit easy.

Thanks DS. I'll check them out. Anyone else?

I've bought the Erin DVD based on glowing Amazon recommendations but (whispers) haven't used it yet - as I'm now a lazy arse. I went to the gym regularly before getting pregnant but am now a disgrace. I'm trying to make myself go swimming today. I don't like my chances much.

Thanks Neolara, your post this morning has inspired me to do the Erin DVD (I knew there was no hope of me swimming). It's very good.

I've not used any DVDs, but have just discovered that pilates is supposed to be great for helping to avoid problems like back ache and SPD (nasty pelvic pain). It tightens up the core muscles inside so helps hold things in place and take the strain. Have SPD now and just started a class so am hoping it helps.

Thought I'd pass on the info in case you fancied looking for an antenatal pilates one. I think it's reliable info as this is what I was told at the pelvic pain clinic and by the maternity hospital physiotherapist who runs the pilates class.

Thanks all. I've just ordered Erin from Amazon and am going to look into a local yoga or pilates class. Tonight is the first night in two months that I don't want to throw up - it's definitely time to get moving again!
