Stupid work Colleagues! Bit of a moan...

Hi all I'm 12+6 days, came into work today to find the young bloke I sit opposite & have quite close contact with, announce he has a rash, feels un-well and the doctor maybe right, he may have Glandular Fever. I was livid!
How can someone be so stupid to come into work in a small office environment feeling un-well to start with & knowing it could possibly be a contagious disease!!!
Am I wrong for thinking how disrespectful to me & others working with him? It?s the same as coming in with a heavy cold (which he?s had) and sneezing all day spreading the germs, just don?t come in if your ill to start with!!!

Sorry to moan but being pregnant I?m hyper sensitive to anyone who coughs or senses around me, and I find it really anti-social of him! Grrrrr!

Oh that is grim. People are such arses.

Hope it's not glandular fever.

sending sympathy. i'm 14+1 and have a nasty cough thanks to my work colleague who very generously decided to share her germs around the office it's bad enough at the best of times, but when one of your colleagues is pg it's even more antisocial. hope he doesn't pass on whatever it is he's got ...

I can completely sympathise with you I think when you're pregnant you suddenly feel very vulnerable to lots of things that you may not have even noticed before.
I work in a school and have children at another school where nasty bugs and viruses are forever present. A couple of weeks ago I found out I had been in contact with a child with chickenpox, another with mumps and another with slapped cheek - all in the same week! After a small panic, decided I was definitely immune to the first two of them and most likely immune to the last one and that there was not much I could do if I wasn't
