Funny turns and 24 weeks...should i be worried about something?

i was on the tube this morning and all of a sudden I started feeling funny, like a bit dizzy and hot. I then came out in a hot sweat, literally over a minute i had a wet upper lip and brow. During this time i also felt like i was close to fainting and generally very weak and uncomfortable.

I was sitting down and the tube wasn't overly full or anything. I had also had my breakfast half an hour earlier, so don't think it was due to low blood sugar? What could have caused this?

This has a happened a couple of times previously but because it seems to disappear of its own accord pretty quickly (i got off at my stop and felt almost normal afterwards although a bit worse for wear), I haven't done anything about it. should I? i mean, should i call the antenatal clinic or go to the docs?

I also had the same thing last week(at19 weeks)Had to sit down in a pile of snow thought I was going to faint.Mentioned it to midwife she said often low blood pressure causes it & that I have had low blood pressure anyway last couple of readings but it's nothing to worry about.Just take it easy it should pass.

that's funny, because at my 12 and 16 week app my bp was ok i think, something like 120/80. i have my 24 week app with the doc next weeek will mention it to her, but can they actually treat 'low' bp with anything, i mean is there a remedy? i don't think im low on salt as although i don't really use it much in cooking, i don't always eat healthy stuff either [mmm prawn cocktails crisps ]

I had this with 1st pregnancy especially towards the end, and found it hard to go out shopping in the last few weks as felt dizzy if I had to queue for a while!

My bp was fine all the way through but mw said its quite common and not to worry unless I actually started passing out, just take your time and keep a bottle of water with you to sip on.

Hope you feel better soon x
