im sorry that this is probs in the wrong place!!!

i ve looked on reviews etc but cant seem to find my way around!!

this will be our 2nd DC and i ve taken quiet a fancy to the silvercross pram, i live in a flat but always left DS pram under the stairs, its (very safe) he had a quinny zapp and it was awful the seat didnt recline etc (it was a gift) so we ended up buying a jeep pushchair which was ok but really hard to fold. so anyways im thinking about getting the silvercross pram and just wondered what you all thought/think of it.

it seems sort of an average pram, with good and bad reviews.

i suppose you get that with any sort of pram, but i have to admitt that i really have fallen in love with it!!! i do like the quinny buzz too, i think it looks well smart and my friend has a black one i like it cos the child is able to face you in it!

The Mychoice only folds with the seat off too so is really big.

My friend had the 3d and it was horrible she gotrid of it by the time her DD was 10 weeks just was'nt any good but she does a lot of walking.

The Graco Cleo is a lot cheaper and is ovely the pram mode bit is a lot bigger

ooo that is really nice good price too!!!!!!! we decided that we are gonna get a maxi cosi car seat so that it will fit on quinny Zapp that we ve got so i can fit the zapp in my mums lil daewoo matiz!! but that graco cleo looks nice as i dont wanna end up paying for a carseat that wont get used too often!

I had the Silvercross, think it was a 3D, included car seat, was a mum facing pram for newborn stage but could be converted to a front facing pushchair for older. You could also use the car seat in it facing you. I thought it was good value, came with rain cover, cosy toe etc all for £380. Relatively easy to use. Car seat really good as 0+ so should last baby well past 12mths (up to 28lb) unlike others. When it was converted to a pram it was lovely, the carry cot part really cosy and padded. The only thing negative I found was that it could be a bit difficult to steer and the basket underneath quite small.

I have bought it in Pistachio from ebay - cost £150. The people selling it had only used it for 8 weeks as they had a big baby and the pram part is not huge (they switched to a Quinny). Given that I am also expecting a large baby, might be a bit of a dud purchase as the bassinet part really is not very big. Time will tell and at least I have only spent £150 on an as new pram. Cx

I spent ages trying to choose between the 3D and the Mamas & Papas Pliko Prammette. I found assorted reviews for both, but they are a bit of a minefield, as for every person who loves one, there is someone who equally hates it. I felt that overall the Pliko seemed to come out slightly better, so I've gone for that.
