Im panicing!! Baby bump has all but disappeared- 16 weeks.

I've had the most ridiculous ginormous bump for weeks- people have thought I am 6 months gone . I'm really poorly today and off to docs in a minute, think I have tonsilitis. Haven't eaten much the last few days and bump has gone!! Is this just because I've not eaten and lost weight or is something wrong?????
Please help.

hiya....I am 27 weeks and sometimes my bump goes away too!!!...I am really pregnant(ie big) and somedays my bump is solid and noticable and others she sits so low my belly is all soft(feels flabby) Your baby will just have moved don't worry to much. Hope all went well at the docs

I'm 15 weeks and my bump while always present to some extent varies enormously from definitely pregnant to tiny petite pot belly. I think it's the food in the newly relocated bowels sitting on top of the bump and not the babe itself - who is only the size of a fist at this stage - that is behind the majority of our tums at this stage and if you've not been eating then there won't be much to see at all.

Thanks all. She wasn't sure about the bump- just laughed nervously . The fabulous news is, I've got bloody tonsilitis! Great with the other 2 kids at home too. Oh woe is me

ARGH @ Tonsilitis! Hope you feel better soon. One of my worst childhood memories is getting the bus to the doctor with tonsilitis and crying all the way with my head on a (fusty-smelling) bus seat.

Most of my 'bump' I'm putting down to constipation!!! Underneath though is a firm bulge where the baby lives! I'm 15 weeks too.
