Ow ow ow help me!!!

About 30 mins ago baby was kicking and dd lifted my top up to have a look.
Suddenly felt an awful pain that made me really shout out the only way I can describe it is by saying it was high up (just under rib cage) and I thought that ds or dp who were playfighting had thrown something and it had hit my tummy. The pain was like a heavy thump and a sort of pop or ripping pain.

It took my breath away and I have never felt anything like it during my other pg's .

I am fine now but can still sort of feel where it happened like an odd tingle .

Baby is moving around and I have not lost any water/discharge.

I am 26 weeks BTW .

sounds like the baby gave you a big kick under your ribs hun and the popping sound was probably the fluid around baby, i wouldnt worry unless you have a lot of pain then give your midwife a ring

I~ had high up pains about the same stage with ds1. Felt like a heart attack, or really REALLY bad indigestion. Apparently was just my ribcage stretching.
no such pain with DS2.

Thanks I just found it so odd this is my sixth baby and not one of them ever booted me like that ..maybe she is going to be difficult [sigh].

I wonder if she was going head down ?
