Hello

Im nearly 37wks and have had enough but to save me going insane I thought I'd see the funny side! Has anyone has beaten my personal best for number of loo visits....

Managed 5 times last night, 6 the night before....

Just curious - and clearly overly tired/ bored on matenity leave!

Poor you! Am only 26 weeks myself but haven't managed a whole night without getting up at least once!! I have been up 3 or 4 times some nights.

xx

Hi,

Like you I am having endless nighttime visits to the loo - in fact even though I am only 18.3 I am thinking of campaigning for it to be an Olympic sport as I feel as pregnant women we would all get Gold medals. To be honest it is driving me crazy as I am usually an 8hr sleep a night girl. Still I suppose when the time comes I will not suffer as much with sleepless nights as I only get 2/3 hours now!

I once did 6 in two hours

then realised that they weren't pooey stomach cramps but actually contractions

dd born 10h later

Are you as often in the day? Is there hardly anything ? I was like this at 37 weeks and then woke up with what I thought were contractions- turns out I had a urinary infection which can be easily missed because you are just putting it down to pregnancy

Deaconwood · 20/02/2009 13:41

2-3 times at the moment (39 weeks), sometimes more, but even that is getting me down! Worst things is feeling like you need a crane to get you out of bed...

I am sleeping so badly now - I guess it's good practice though!!

LOL Mrs Badger...

Dont think its infection as its not the same in the day, think its the position of baby on my bladder and general lying down discomfort....

Heartmoon I was like you at 18wks then my bump rose up out of my pelvis and I had full nights for ages, probably until about 5 wks ago... hope you get rest

Definately agree its probably practice for the proper sleepless nights.. though hopefully less need for a crane or nuclear painkillers for the spd (I can dream!)

39 wks, up every hour on the half hour all night long.

Just an interesting point... SIL told me that her midwife commented that if you're up to the loo once a night while pregnant, and if it's usually around the same time every night, then your baby is likely to be born at that time! She knows quite a few women for whom this was true!!

Once an hour, all friggin' night - a total of about 8 or 9 times a night. Grrrrrr - it's very annoying

insertwittynicknameHERE · 20/02/2009 19:01

Oh I do about 4-5 visits at night to the loo when I am not pg

When I am pg, as I am now 19 weeks pg, it is every 40 minutes to an hour, I don't need sleep

I don't need sleep

I don't need sleep
