I have been fairly rubbish and my 28 week bloods came back that I was anaemic.
Hb 92 and Ferritin 7. I was put on Ferrogradumet 2 times a day. How long should I keep feeling like a complete train wreck...I am now 30 weeks.

I think it takes about 4 weeks to get your iron levels back up. I was aneamic through both my pregnancies and its crap isn't it. It is good that it was spotted though as you do not want to be anaemic in labour as i was with my first.

Oh poor you, tis very common. Drink a lot as the tabs can make you constipated.

I took spatone instead of the tabs - no side effects, and it is absorbed better by your body so in my case I got my HB up to almost 10 within a couple of weeks.

You can get it in Boots - 30 sachets are about £5.99, mix it with orange juice, much nicer than tablets. I took two sachets a day for a week then one a day.

It's really good! Dr had never heard of it - told me not to trust anything from a health food shop

There's one called floradix too, not sure which tastes nicer/works better.
