Nuts..

I bought some 'Toffifee' today without thinking. Got home and realized they have hazelnuts in them.

Tell me I don't have to give them away

I don't have, and my partner doesn't have nut allergies, and no body in our immediate family does. We both had asthma as a child, that's about it.

I've googled it for the past 15 minutes, and all i've come up with is a load of conflicting articles.

Anyone gobbled nuts through their pregnancy? And I don't mean the ones that got us into this predicament in the first place

I ate nuts throughout all my pregnancies. My children have no allergies.

Yes. And I am an eczema and hayfever queen. My 9 year old twins seem fine. Do not fear. It's only peanuts that are sometimes advised against anyway, and that advice is changing, I believe, as the thinking is moving towards the idea that lack of exposure may be the trigger...

Lack of exposure?! Not a problem

You got pregnant by gobbling??????

Anyway, I was happily eating nuts this time, even tho I had ezcema as a child. Then DD gets this horrible hives rash all over and Dr said it might be a food allergy. I've not changed her diet, but wonder if it might have been her heavily-coloured Xmas pyjamas.

But I would do almost anything for some thick white toast with dirty smooth peanut butter slathered on.
