hi

my period is about 4 days late, normally due around 30 days(not exact). i have tested since the day it was supposed to showm always negative! so frustrating not knowing...is it quite normal to get the -tive sign all the time? breats sooo sore, but that is about it for preg, signs, apart from an awful headache..

How sensitive are the tests you're using? (somewhere they should say - it'll be a number around 10-30 mlu) Did you buy them all at the same time and are they all of the same type?

Lots of things are possible - I'd buy a new, very sensitive test and check (10mlu is about as good as they get - you can get them from www.accessdiagnostics.co.uk). If that's still -ve and you still have sore boobs and/or your period still hasn't turned up in the next few days I'd go to your GP and see what they say. Some pregnancies that are perfectly fine just don't seem to show up on urine tests.

blommetje, I know how you feel. I'm one day late on a clockwork cycle. Done a few tests now and all -ve. And I feel sick. No sore boobs though.

I guess I'll just have to sit it out and wait...and wait...

Hope your news is good news for you.

Just as a sanity check as well, breastfeeding can interfere with your cycle (I'd been pretty regular on 27/28 days before DD - then my 3rd or 4th after she was born was 35 days long) and there are some herbs and things that can influence a pregnancy test - might be worth reading all the small print just to make sure.
