Did anyone have antenatal classes with Jessica James, London N16?

Hello - I was just wondering if anyone had antenatal classes with Jessica James in London N16, Stoke Newington? My sister is trying to decide whether to go to her or someone else, and has not been able to find any personal recommendations for her. Can anyone recommend her - or indeed anyone else in Stoke Newington? Many thanks!

Yes me as well, also long time ago - she is vaguely hippy-ish but in a good way and I really enjoyed her classes. She also used to do antental yoga which I thought was very very good.

Jessica is great - can't recommend her enough. Both for the antenatal yoga as well as the birth classes. Wouldn't have wanted anything more for the preparation of my baby's arrival !

I attended Jessica's class from April 2015 until my daughters birth in July 2015. It then continued as a post natal group until around October. The whole process was invaluable.....I am not a holistic person (or at least I didn't think i was) and was beyond terrified of actually giving birth but Jessica made the experience much less scary and I managed to give birth drug free. It was also amazing to have my partner go through the process too so he was so helpful and involved both through my pregnancy and on the day. I would recommend this package to every pregnant women in London!!!!

Jessica's classes are the best and better alternative to NCT.
The pregnancy yoga and couples active birth classes where invaluable to us when it came to the big day.
Both my husband and I were fully prepared and ready to go through labour.
Additionally it was the best place to meet like minded moms, that like to do things more naturally.
I am still seeing all the girls I met in that class, and I could not imagine my new life as a mom without their support.

Unlike most other couples I didn't discover Jessica through word of mouth but a thorough internet search led me to fantastic reviews.
I can attest that the yoga is very much for anyone at any fitness level and has helped to improve my symptoms of nausea and vomiting which has unfortunately lasted all the way through my pregnancy. If you've experienced a difficult pregnancy I would definitely recommend her classes as the warm and friendly environment and invaluable advice and support has made these last few months of my pregnancy much more positive.

We both very much enjoyed Jessica's classes and meeting other new people, it helped us feel prepared and work out what we needed to manage the birth.

Jessica is friendly and professional, creating a lovely environment to talk and chat through experiences, and practice the kinds of movements for helping to manage birth.

There is so much information around, we were glad we chose to go with Jessica and make space and time to pause and focus on the bump soon to be baby!

We really enjoyed Jessica James' classes and the space it gave us to prepare for having children. It was great to meet new people too and share experiences and ideas. Definitely recommend. Jessica is very personable and warm, and I have many happy memories from this time.

Adding my voice to the chorus of positive JJ praise! I highly recommend Jessica's classes. At each stage of pregnancy, birth, and new parenthood, I have found her classes to be an invaluable source of information and a refuge from overwhelming feelings or fears. Pregnancy yoga provided a chance to work out physical niggles while bonding with the tiny occupant of my bump. The antenatal classes were so informative and, I think most valuably, really got partners educated and on board as real birth partners. Finally, the postnatal mums and babies group has been fabulous. Having a chance each week to learn about baby development, debrief with other new mums, and do a bit of baby yoga to bond with the little one has just been the best. All along, you are developing relationships with a group of women due around the same time you are. Sometimes when we get together (even now after Jessica's classes have officially ended), we remark on how incredible it is that we've known each other since we were merely a few months pregnant. It's a crazy journey, and it's been so positive for me in large part because of Jessica's classes and the women I met there.
