34 weeks got up an hour ago legs feel like jelly and i am having to shuffle about. Had to sit and bump down the stairs. has anyone else had this and will it just ease off? thanks L x

Anyone? they are really heavy don't want to call mid wife if it will ease off but a bit worried

Baby is probably in an awkward position and putting pressure on your nerves. Try whatever normally works for you to get the baby to swish around a bit and see if that eases anything? If not, then give your midwife a call if you're worried! x

I would call your midwife, or doctors and just explain over the phone, they can make the decition if you need to go in or not. Alternatively call NHS direct they are good at advice.

Hi! I had something similar a few weeks ago - and my midwife said it was sciatica. Considering you are 34 weeks (and I was only 24), I would maybe call your MW to just double check. I couldn't find any position that didn't really hurt and just tried to keep moving to stop me ceasing up entirely. Hope it gets better.

Thanks. Its more like they are really weak. spoke to midwife i have an appointment on mon so have to wait till then but if it gets worse have to go to triage at the hospital. x
