Swollen bits after sex - is it just me???

Does anyone else experience swelling down below immediately after sex? I have from about 20 weeks - maybe even earlier. It's worse when I stand up afterwards (and at times has felt like my insides are falling out - nice) but goes away after a couple of hours. Midwife didn't seem to think it was anything to worry about but would be reassuring to know it's not just me.
Not that I'm having much sex at 34 weeks anyway...!

Hi, I am the same, this is my 2nd and I didn't suffer with it with my 1st so I wasn't sure if it was a hormone thing or to do with the fact my ds1 was only 10 1/2 months when I fell pregnant (not sure if all my "bits" were back to normal or not!!!!) I also felt like that when I had an internal the other day. I think it is all a bit more swollen than usual anyway - not very nice but I'm hoping once I eventually pop (I'm 41 weeks!!!!!!) it will all go back down to normal - sorry can't offer any advice but it's good to know it's normal I guess!

Hi, I'm the same, I'm 28 weeks & it happens every time we have sex (so there's not been a lot recently ).. It feels really uncomfortable, especially if I'm then walking around. My midwife didn't seem too bothered by it either, mentioned increased blood flow etc & that it's 'nothing serious or anything to worry about'.

Here's hoping it all goes back to 'normal' after the birth, well, as 'normal' as things get!
