Hi there, i am 19 weeks today and felt my baby move quite clearly at 18 weeks and every day since then (which was last Tuesday). Then yesterday and last night I didn't anything... Is this normal? Or should I be worried?

Have you been busy? Sometimes notice less if so. Try having a really cold drink or something sugary? That's what they make you do if you're being monitored at hospital and baby's quiet. Might well be normal so early on, I don't know, but if you're at all worried maybe ring midwife of go to EPU/DAU (not sure which applies at 19 weeks) to put your mind at rest?

What were you doing yesterday? Often you don't notice the movements when you're busy. Another possibility is that the baby has turned and is kicking inwards (which you won't feel) rather than outwards.
I really don't think you need to be worried, but if you want reassurance pop down to your midwife and ask them to have a listen.

It was a regular day for me, work and home in the evening. Normally I feel movement in the evening when relaxing. Could well be the position of baby like you say JLo. Will keep an eye on things! Thanks!

I had the same thing. I'm 20 weeks, and have been feeling the baby for the past fortnight or so. On Friday he was doing the rumba, especially after a curry, but was much quieter over the weekend. This of course got me fretting. But today he's back with a vengeance. I think they have quiet periods, and at this early stage have yet to develop a routine.

It's the next thing to worry about after passing the 12 and 20-week scans...

My HV told me to have a drink of cold orange juice to get the baby moving, then lie down to feel it. It usually worked.
