Pain behind knee/back of leg

Hi everyone,
I am 18.5 weeks and woke up this morning with quite bad pain behind my knee (ie: the back of my leg) such that I now walk with a limp. I had a look and the veins there are quite prominent.
Is this normal? Should I be worried? I know I am being paranoid but I would hate to ignore it and it be something terrible like a clot...

Sorry for the shameless bumping but really hoping someone has had the same thing...

i woke up with similar pan - put it down t a cramp as i am prone to them...but didnt have the prominent vein...i would speak to your gp as you yourself have mentioned you need to rule out a clot
