I have had a soreness at the top left hand side of my bump on and off for a few days. I am 29 weeks pregnant.

Make a midwife/doctor appointment, is always best to be checked out.

agree with getting checked with midwife, but I also had soreness like that with both my pregnancies and it was usually a fist or foot being pushed into my ribs!

Hello! Just to reassure you...I'm 29 wks too and for the last couple of weeks I've had a tender patch just at the very top of my bump. To be honest, I think it's just the skin being stretched for me, as it feels tender very close to the surface as opposed to a deep pain. I'm not concerned about my pain - suspect it's just one of those things and baby's clearly moving around and behaving normally - but as others have said, if you are worried...pop along to GP/Midwife.

I have got this too but started getting bad at about 32 weeks. Mine feels like a burning, stratching at the top of my bump. Midwife told me that it was muscles separating. Not much you can do apart from take paracetamol and hold somthing warm on it like a hot water bottle.
