Not sure if posting in right place? Anyway - does anyone know where I can buy the little bodysuits/vests for babies which have cross over at the front and fasten at the side, so you don't have to pull them over baby's head?
Thanks.

I seem to remember Verbaudet had them when ds was wee.

They are really hard to get hold of and also quite expensive. But you can get them at Petit Bateau I believe.

i bought mine from vertbaudet, there sizes (as most french companies it seems) are a bit small, i ordered 0-3 and used them on a newborn and i dont have big babies (6/7lb ones)

I think H&M do them too....

Carrie06 · 07/02/2009 20:09

JoJo Maman Bebe does them but again, pricey. Cx

jen992 · 07/02/2009 20:18

Hi, I bought some for my son (2yrs ago mind you)... from Mothercare. Just had a look online for you but can't see them? maybe worth a look in store... i defo got them from monthercare tho and they weren't overpriced.

bluebump · 07/02/2009 20:21

We bought loads in C&A last year in Spain as they were really cheap. I too have seen some in Mothercare too, last year though.

chocoholic · 07/02/2009 20:21

I'm sure I got some from Pumpkin patch but I don't know if they do them now.

notcitrus · 07/02/2009 22:08

John Lewis do cute organic white ones, 2 for £10.

spicemonster · 07/02/2009 22:09

Petit bateau. If you know someone in France/going to France, you can buy them in most hypermarkets. Agree they're much nicer for wee babes

preggersplayspop · 07/02/2009 22:10

I had some gorgeous ones from Jo Jo Maman Bebe, they work out cheaper if you buy more than one because I think you get a fiver off. They are expensive though compared to the bog standard non cross over ones, I used for special occasions!

fruitstick · 07/02/2009 22:13

Green baby do them but they are, again, pricey. Sizing is fairly small so get 0-3

I packed them in my hospital bag and used them first time I dressed DS. Much better than putting it over his head so worth getting a couple to use in the early days until you build up a bit more confidence!

hellymelly · 07/02/2009 22:19

I had petit bateau ones as they are the loveliest but they are not for beefy babies as they are very slim, and you need to remember that French sizing means "up to" the height/age on the label, not from that age to the next like UK sizing. Also bought some from Jojo maman but they were cut a bit low at the front, not great for a Winter baby. The cheapest might be la redoute, they always have them.

spicemonster · 07/02/2009 22:24

That is true hellymelly - my baby is on the stumpy but wide side and I always got him the next size up. Petit Bateau are skinny but long (optimistic french people)

Brangelina · 07/02/2009 22:30

Du Pareil au Meme do them too www.dpam.com/index.php?country=GB and they're not quite as skinny as Petit Bateau.

Brangelina · 07/02/2009 22:33

Here, for instance.

bunnymother · 15/02/2009 00:17

Zara - 2 for £7

bunsen · 15/02/2009 19:29

H&M do them, got some and they are still selling them at mo, 2 for £5.99. Got little leggings to match too.
