can i use my old lansinohl cream again?

hi please excuse the dodgy spelling but basically i was wondering if its ok to use "off lansinohl" cream?
ds was born in 2006 and i still have looads of the stuff left although i think the date on it is 2007/8?
I am not due untill begining of august but was just wondering way in advance as i remember the stuff o be pretty pricey (think i payed about £10/11 foe a tube and im sure prices will have gone up by now!
if im being totally minging then please just say

I wouldn't want to risk it. It's £9.99 in mothercare. I picked some up for a friend last week.

keep an eye out in sainsbury if there's one near you, every few months they have a half price sale. He you don't have one near i'm happy to pick some up next time i see the sale and send you it.

awww thankyou very much polar bear but there is a sainsbury just 10 mins away from me so i will keep checking! and popsycal great use i just never chucked it away and didnt know if it was safe! i will use it as a foot cream though and not risk it for the sake of a £10er or perhaps even a £5er if i catch one of those sales

Remember you can also ask your doctor/midwife to prescribe you Lansinoh (or Medela PureLan which is the same thing) if money is tight.
