can you still have a proper period and be pregnant? symptoms of pregnancy?

hello had a period a few weeks ago but i feel so bloated and stomach feels really strange. can you have a period and still be pregnant. thank you

I had what I thought was a period in both of my pregnancies (lasted 5 days) - must have just been heavy implantation bleeds though as I now have 2 healthy sons.

Have you done a test?

hello - no i haven't as i only suddenly felt like this on wednesday. it was my friend that said are you sure your not pg. did not think i was as i had a period a few weeks ago.

I'd do a test

According to my dates, I had what I thought was a proper period, I still think I did and my dates are wrong but mw said its quite common to think that and that size of the baby is more accurate than DLP...take the test, the digital ones are really good....
