Been for another scan today I am 6 weeks as I have been having brown discharge, went for a scan last week but too early to see heartbeat hence another scan today, a heartbeat was seen but they said it was slow and I have to go back again in a weeks time to see how things are, the nurse explained that this could result in a miscarriage but could go the other way and the heartbeat speed up, has anyone else had the same experience, this is going to be an horrendous week

I haven't had this experience but have definitely heard that at 6 weeks the heartbeat has not stabilised. I had an early scan at 5+4 and it is just recorded as fetal heart movement seen, which is rather vague I think.
